What is the ONA by INDIBA facial?
It is a deep cleansing facial that combines hydrodermabrasion, electroporation with LED light and electrostimulation. It cleans out pores, hydrates and tones the face in a single session, with no needles and no downtime.
ONA is the facial device by INDIBA, the Barcelona company known worldwide for its skincare technology. Unlike a traditional facial, it does not rely on manual extractions: hydrodermabrasion exfoliates and gently vacuums out impurities using water and active ingredients, without leaving marks on the skin.
Next, electroporation helps hydrating ingredients reach the skin more effectively, and electrostimulation works the facial muscles so your face looks firmer and more rested. You can see the result from the very first session.

The three steps of the full treatment

Hydrodermabrasion
Deep exfoliation and cleansing. The handpiece combines water and active ingredients with gentle suction to lift away dead skin cells, oil and impurities from the pores. It is the base of every option.

Electroporation with LED light
Once the skin is clean, gentle pulses help hydrating ingredients penetrate better, with no needles. LED light accompanies this step. Skin is left plumper and more radiant.

Facial electrostimulation
A low-frequency current works the facial muscles, like a small workout for your face. It helps your face look firmer, more defined and more rested.

Getting the most out of it
Before
Avoid scrubs, acids or strong retinoids for two days beforehand, and stay out of strong sun. If you can, come without make-up. Let us know if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants in your face, or if your skin is irritated or broken.
After
You can go straight back to your day. Wear sunscreen and keep your skin moisturised. For a day or two, avoid scrubs and saunas to make the effect last longer.
ONA by INDIBA facial: FAQs
Is it the same as a HydraFacial®?
No. HydraFacial® is a registered trademark of another manufacturer. ONA is INDIBA’s device and uses a similar technique, hydrodermabrasion, adding electroporation with LED light and electrostimulation in the same session.
How is it different from a traditional facial?
A traditional facial relies on manual extractions, which can leave skin red for hours or days. With ONA, hydrodermabrasion cleans pores with water, active ingredients and gentle suction, and the full session adds hydration and tone.
Does it hurt?
No. Hydrodermabrasion feels like a gentle, cool suction. During electrostimulation you will feel small twitches in your face, which your therapist adjusts to your comfort.
Which option should I choose?
If it is your first time, the 55-minute full facial. For glow and hydration, hydrodermabrasion with electroporation. For a firmer face, hydrodermabrasion with electrostimulation. And if you only need to clear your pores, hydrodermabrasion on its own.
How often should I have it?
One session every three to four weeks is ideal to keep your skin clean and radiant. It also works as a one-off treatment before a special occasion.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Yes. There is no downtime and your skin is ready for make-up. If you can, let it breathe for a few hours to enjoy the effect even more.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t have it?
Let us know beforehand if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants in your face, have epilepsy, or if your skin is irritated, sunburnt or broken. In those cases we adapt the treatment or suggest another option.
