Japanese Kobido Facial Massage Course The Japanese Facial Massage Course is a unique opportunity to learn massage techniques to enhance the aesthetics of the face, neck and décolleté and help to benefit the emotional sphere of those who receive it. The course does not require prior preparation, it is open to everyone.
Kobido is an ancient Japanese technique, used to perform a natural lift to the face, neck and décolleté. Born in China but later imported to Japan in the 5th century AD, it was used for the first time in samurai, as a technique capable of restoring balance between mind and body. Later this type of massage was valued by the empress as an anti-aging massage for the face of the emperors. In Japan it is considered the natural lifting alternative to plastic surgery, as it provides elasticity and hydration to the skin, reducing wrinkles.
The treatment is suitable for any type of skin. The Japanese Facial Massage Course, in addition to teaching a new technique, according to the oriental tradition, also transmits a philosophy of life in which we find an indissoluble link between natural beauty and inner well-being.

ANA TURNER
My interest in holistic therapies started in 2012 when I met a person who brought Reiki into my life and changed my way of seeing the world.
I did the first and second levels with María Iglesias in Barcelona. Reiki helped me develop my sensitivity towards people’s energy, I have been giving sessions in Barcelona with private clients and also as a volunteer in events and hospitals.
In 2013 I took a course on Akashic Records with Susana Cano.
In 2014 I made my first trip to Thailand which completely changed my life. There I met Thai Massage and I simply fell in love with this ancient art. In the same year I did my first Thai Massage course at the Ismet Institute in Barcelona.
In 2015 I returned to Thailand where I settled in Chiang Mai for months to learn more about the technique at the Nuad Boran School.
A wide and diversified training
I received Thai Massage training in the traditional modality, in the therapeutic modality, and also to use the Tok Sen as a work tool. In the same year, on my return to Barcelona, I spent 12 months studying Chiromassage at the Sagrada Familia School. 2017: I received Thai Massage training on a stretcher from Shivattai in Girona. 2018: I received Balinese Massage training at the International Bali Spa Academy on the island of Bali. In the same year, after returning to Barcelona, I was being trained in Foot Reflexology at the Tiller School.
During all these years of training, I have been actively working as a body therapist and as well as a trainer for new therapists in Thai massage techniques in some of the holistic centers in Barcelona, such as Mailuna and Beauty & Spa Barcelona as well as in Centers and Spas in Brazil and Peru. Having worked in an environment with high demand at the protocol level in the art of massages, such as that required by Spas like the L´Occitane Spa at the Hotel Miramar and the Spa at the Mandarín Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, gave me the opportunity to polish the techniques learned and develop my own style.
